Edwin Sargent

Edwins Sargent, or “Sarge” as he is most known, began his professional experience in the Mental Health Profession as a Residential Treatment Specialist at the Babyfold in Normal IL. Recently He worked as the Restorative School Specialist with Project Oz, in Bloomington IL. Sarge left CTE profession and pursued a challenging career in Property Management where he oversaw a contractual agreement between Millikin University and a local property management company that provided exclusive housing for students. Returning to Illinois post pandemic, Sarge currently serves as the Executive Director for Western Avenue Community Center. In his spare time, “Sarge” enjoys creative writing and listening to spoken word, attending concerts and music festivals, watching & playing sports, cooking, and dancing!
