Ms. Terri,

Thank you so much for everything you have done for our daughter. The Willie Brown Leadership program changed her life! In the program, she learned about what it means to be part of a community of leaders and change-makers in Bloomington Normal.  Interacting with leaders and professionals in the Bloomington Normal communities was very impactful. She was inspired by their willingness to fully support the community. Now, she is looking for opportunities to serve as well as looking to the future for what will be her impact. Under the mentorship of Ms. Terri Cannon and the staff at Western Ave., our daughter can see her potential and is not afraid to dream big. Currently, she is in a community service youth group for young women, Zeta Amicettes, where she works at the Eastern Illinois Foodbank. We could not be more proud of her growth and maturity. We owe much of this to Western Ave. and your support of young people in the community.
