Programs for Seniors

Our Senior Programs provide a safe place for the Senior Citizen community to create strong relationships through our recreational activities as well as to promote their health through fitness classes.

Senior Fitness Classes

Seniors will take part in a low-impact, strength, and stretching during the fitness classes. These classes will help you improve your posture, flexibility, balance, and mobility. Seniors will have the options to choose a variety of exercises to help them reach their fitness goals. All classes are free to all community members. Come out on Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 10-11am.

Western Avenue host BINGO games for our seniors every 3rd Thursday of each month from 11am-12pm. This event is open to all seniors in McLean County and lunch is provided. Please call Western Avenue at (309)-829-4807.

Seniors on the Go

Western Avenue provides trips for Seniors within our community. All seniors are welcome to participate however there is a cost associated for each trip. Seniors will need to sign up in advance and cash is not accepted at Western Avenue.

Seniors Pickleball

Pickleball is a combination of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It is a great way for Senior to have fun, learn, be active, and enjoy time with friends. This is a free program and is first come, first serve.

Senior Program

"I like coming to exercise class because it keeps me energized and helps me age well. Bingo is fun and keeps my mind active. It’s great for socializing. The Dinner Dances are great fun with good food. You can relive your youth with the music."
