General Statement

At Western Avenue Community Center, we are dedicated to enhancing the usability and accessibility of our website, guided by the belief that accessibility elevates the experience for all users and that all individuals should be empowered to engage with technology in a way that supports dignity, inclusion, ease, and autonomy.

Accessibility on Westernavenuecc.org

To support accessibility across our site, Westernavenuecc.org features an accessibility widget available to all users. This tool helps improve the site’s compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

Using the Accessibility Menu

You can access the accessibility features on Westernavenuecc.org by selecting the icon located in the bottom left corner of any page. After enabling the accessibility menu, please allow a few seconds for the menu to fully load.

Our Ongoing Commitment

We are continuously working to enhance the accessibility of our website. We believe it is a shared responsibility to ensure everyone can engage with online content without barriers.

While we strive to meet the highest accessibility standards, some content may not yet fully comply due to technical limitations or challenges in identifying optimal solutions.
